Pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. was hit Tuesday with a $2.6 million jury verdict over Accutane, the first such verdict in a case blaming the severe acne treatment for inflammatory bowel disorder rather than other, more well-known side effects, lawyers say.

Countrywide Financial Corp. Class Action Lawsuit On Behalf of Investors. Countrywide Financial has had a federal lawsuit filed and are trying to get it turned into a Class Action Lawsuit against Countrywide Financial for violating federal housing discrimination laws by requiring black homeowners to pay higher fees to the network of agents that generate Countrywide’s new customers.

The Countrywide Financial lawsuit was filed US Court in Boston in behalf of African American borrowers.

The lawsuit claims Countrywide and its subprime subsidiary, Full Spectrum Lending Inc., charged black customers more for subprime mortgages than it charged white borrowers in similar financial situations.

Mattel The Start Of A Class Action Lawsuit

Mattel Inc and Fisher Price Inc is facing a lawsuit from Farrah Shoukry. Mattel Inc has recalled more than 1.5 million toys this month alone. Farrah Shoukry and all the parents that have a toy in there home from Mattel Inc and, or Fisher Price Inc, should have legitimate concerns for lead poisoning and should seek quick legal advice.
